The 4th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2023, which will run for 59 days from September 1st to October 29th, continues the discourse on urban themes from the previous events. This year's Seoul biennale is centered around the theme Land Architecture, Land Urbanism, extending the discussions on urban concepts shared during the 1st Biennale City Of Commons, the 2nd Biennale Collective City, and the 3rd Biennale Restilient City.
The exhibition is divided into five sections: Thematic Exhibition that presents concepts and discourses related to the theme, Seoul 100-Year Masterplan Exhibition, Guest Cities Exhibition showcasing examples from cities around the world related to the theme, On-site Project that explores the theme through interactive displays, and Global Studios that serves as a platform for discussions among students from architecture universities worldwide. The 15th Seoul Architecture Festival, the 15th Seoul International Architecture Film Festival, a Metaverse exhibition, various public programs, and other collateral exhibitions and programs are also held. All exhibitions and events are free of charge.
